Travel Record Reconciler

USD 29 for one bounded travel ledger. Read the scope and data-handling terms before paying or submitting evidence.

Effective October 10, 2026 · Terms version travel-reconciler-terms-v1. FileAbroad is a service of Iterative Systems LLC. These terms apply to the optional hosted workspace when available and supplement the general terms and privacy policy.

What your purchase includes

Pay USD 29 once through Stripe before uploading evidence. The purchase covers one traveler, one selected tax year, up to 50 journeys and 40 relevant source pages, and a declared evidence horizon of up to 24 months. Each prepared page image counts as one source page; CSV rows remain subject to the journey limit. No subscription or additional charge is included.

The workspace proposes source-linked travel facts from supported English or Spanish stamp, boarding-pass, and travel-record images. You review and confirm individual facts. The result includes a location timeline, supported foreign, U.S., travel/transit and unknown days, candidate twelve-month windows, unresolved questions, and PDF, JSON, and CSV exports. Save your exports before the workspace expires.

Software counts only confirmed, supported facts. Bookings, itineraries, and canceled trips create no presence. Unknown days count zero and remain visible. Entered local arrival and departure dates are preserved. Counts cover the declared evidence horizon.

Prepare relevant evidence

Use relevant pages, rather than an entire passport. Supported selections are PDF pages, PNG or JPEG images, and travel CSV files. PDFs are rendered in your browser; only the prepared page images are uploaded. Mask unnecessary names, passport and taxpayer numbers, full account numbers, addresses, and unrelated information, and review every final image before submitting. The service removes image metadata. Remove unrelated or identifier columns from CSV files; only permitted travel fields are accepted.

Each uploaded image or CSV is limited to 3 MB. Unreadable, unsupported, malformed, or over-limit evidence may require a corrected submission. Missing times, time zones, duration, contradictory evidence, and uncertain movements can remain unresolved. Sea travel, waiver claims, and other unsupported tax-rule questions require separate review.

Your review and the limits of the ledger

You are responsible for checking the proposed facts, source references, and completeness of your evidence before confirming the ledger. Extraction can make mistakes. The purchase organizes facts and calculates days; it does not include a professional review, tax filing, FEIE eligibility determination, tax-home opinion, qualifying-income analysis, or filing-position recommendation. Every export leaves FEIE eligibility undetermined.

Personal review by Chip, a new traveler or year, extra evidence beyond the limits, and an open-ended investigation need a separate agreed scope. Request that scope through FileAbroad intake.

Support and one factual correction

The purchase includes one consolidated technical-support response and one factual-correction rerun requested within seven calendar days after your first completed ledger. Use the workspace's correction action during that period. The correction keeps your earlier result and rule version in the history, subject to the workspace retention period. It does not extend the scope limits or workspace expiry.

Send a concise description of an access, payment, or delivery issue to info@fileabroad.com. Include the opaque workspace or Stripe receipt reference when available. Do not email passport pages, identity numbers, or other sensitive evidence.

Payment, cancellation, and refunds

Checkout must show USD 29 for this product. FileAbroad verifies payment before uploads and verifies the current payment status before downloads. A refunded or disputed purchase loses hosted download access. Stripe handles your payment details; FileAbroad excludes your evidence and travel ledger from payment metadata.

Request a full refund if you cancel before substantive processing begins. Substantive work begins when you submit evidence for extraction or generate a ledger. If a technical failure prevents the promised usable deliverable, contact FileAbroad for a replacement attempt or refund. An unsupported or expanded scope requires your agreement before additional work or charges. FileAbroad does not deduct unannounced hourly charges. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Hosted access, retention, and deletion

Vercel hosts the service and private case storage. OpenAI processes reviewed image derivatives to propose facts; CSV parsing and day counts use software. Read the hosted privacy disclosure for the processor details and provider retention limits before accepting processing.

Source derivatives expire 30 days after each upload. Workpapers, confirmations, results, correction history, and scope/payment references expire 90 days after workspace creation. Access ends at expiry; daily cleanup removes eligible active copies during the next scheduled run. FileAbroad creates no backups of hosted case records. Payment, support, and legally required business records are separate from that case schedule.

Access is tied to a necessary signed, HttpOnly cookie in your original browser. The cookie expires with the workspace. Save downloads you need; losing browser access does not extend the retention period. Selecting “Delete my hosted workspace” ends access immediately and removes active case evidence and workpapers sooner. Processing already in flight may need up to five minutes to finish cleanup. Source caches may take up to one minute to clear. Provider infrastructure backups and legally retained copies follow provider terms, without an exact erasure-time promise. Your own downloads remain under your control.
